By design. What if you are installing V6 just to test? Possibly using comparison testing? Hard to compare with something you just removed or overwrote ![;)]( "Wink")
All the 'models' of SyncBack install in parallel by default and are not designed to replace any different 'model'. You need to specifically uninstall the older/lesser model, but we leave when/if to do so up to you.
Just go to the Start menu entry/folder for the original version (the one that doesn't say SyncBackFree) and click the 'Uninstall SyncBack' entry in that Start menu subfolder. Make sure you pick the right one, which will only quote 'SyncBack' (no '...Free' suffix)
