Hi Forum,
I am testing SyncBackPro Version 6.3.13.0 with Windows 7 64bit.
I have an USB hard drive connected to a Fritz!Box 7390 latest Firmware.
There are 3 users that have access to the NAS storage.
2 users are connected in the local network.
1 laptop user has access via Internet (connected to the Fritz!Box cia WLAN).
I am testing it with the laptop.
The profile settings are:
Syncronization
Left: local folder
Right: FTP
Connection to FTP checked successfully.
Then I started a test sync over night.
Now, after 12 hours, only 43.000 files are processed (so much because there are backups from websites on the FTP, but the whole size of the sync project is approx. 18 GB).
It is still in checking the FTP mode and I noticed that only approx. 10-20 files are processed (this are very small ones from the website, it is showing 0 KB).
After this files are processed the status stops, showing a file for 1-2 minutes.
Then the status shows: connection to FTP server disconnected
Then the status shows: connection trial 1 of 2 (translation maybe not correct because I use the German version)
Then the next 10-20 small files are processed.
Then it stops again as described above.
There are no problems with copying files with FileZilla.
This works without interruption respect. disconnection.
When I map the NAS with NETDrive. Copying the files works also without problems.
--------------------------------------------
Now I installed the trial version on a locacl computer that has a network connection via cable directly to the Fritz!Box.
I checked the access to the Fritz!NAS
1. connecting the NAS as network drive = working
2. via NETDrive FTP = working
3. connection via FileZilla = working
In all these configurations there is no problem with copying files to a local folder.
Now in SyncBackPro V6 I am setting up the profile and describe step by step what I am doing.
Profile new:...
Syncronization (SmartSync)
Left: Local Drife
Right: FTP
Setting Host name...
Password ....
Check the settings: ok
Finish
Then I choose the local directory and the name of the hard drive connected to Fritz!Box NAS.
Then in the warning window:
to switch off the function that building basic directories, if they do not exist,
I click YES.
Then I started the test sync and unfortunately the same issue as described above happens in this installation.
From the first impression I like the programme very much, so I hope that anyone can help me solving this problem.
Kind regards
WITZKER
