Versioning doesn't seem to be working

I am running SE v6.3.13. on Windows 7 One of the backups I am trying to do is of a video database. I have versioning set to "Enable versioing on Destination" with a maximum of 30 versions and for a maximum of 90 days. When I look in the destination folder I don't see a hidden folder (I have view hidden files and folders enabled) and only the last version is visible. Either the older versions are not being kept or I am looking in the wrong place. Any help would be appreciated.
