Hi everybody!
My backup strathegy is a mirror backup with versioning.
Does anybody know how I can achieve the following:
I want that the filename of a file is automatically expanded by a suffix which tells me what happened to the file. I want 2 events to be recognized:
1) A file is modified
2) A file is deleted
For example I delete a file in the sourcedrive, afterwards I run my mirrorbackup with versioning.
Now I want syncback pro to recognize, that the file does not exist any more on the sourcedrive and delete it on the targetdrive and create a version file. To this point it works very well. But I want this version to have the suffix "DEL" in its filename.
The same is true for modification of a file - the version should have the suffix "MOD".
Is this feasible by a script or something?
Best regards
Andi
