Now getting errors using port 990

Regarding:
Software: vers 6.4.3.0
Backup of ftp site to local hard drive

Since our host provider moved from port 21 to port 990 implicit, we still can connect but we are unable to backup getting over 7000 errors (mostly "Error - skipped" or "www.mysite.com file could not be checked for changes
