Some time ago I posted the questions/suggestions above.

Now, with a software that points somewhat hardware failures (DiskInfo -> http://crystalmark.info/software/Crysta ... dex-e.html) I have some 2TB, 1.5 years old HD´s reporting things like this:
12/06/2013 15:31 [602] Degradação: (05) Reallocated Sectors Count [104->112]
12/06/2013 16:31 [602] Degradação: (05) Reallocated Sectors Count [112->120]
13/06/2013 11:13 [602] Degradação: (05) Reallocated Sectors Count [120->184]
13/06/2013 12:06 [602] Degradação: (05) Reallocated Sectors Count [184->232

Well, this points that probably these HDs are in the down lane? It´s time to substitute them? This probably is happening with most of your disks too. Check them...
In another HD, yesterday, synckback was unable to backup some files. Solution: restore them from an earlier backup (hoppefully they where there), not as in March where I loose a complete HD and it´s backup had nothing.

The question: all suggestions and questions I did before, make any senseto you that is reading this post? Or it´s a complete nonsense? I didnt receive almost any return, besides this is one of the most readed posts.

If you deal with HD´s, this is a must read: Google experience with they huge farm of disks... and, surprise, cold disks are not the best solution.... neither brand new ones... http://storagemojo.com/2007/02/19/googl ... xperience/

Thanks
Jose
