I've had mixed success with getting Robocopy to maintain folder modified dates (I'd almost swear it once worked right away, but another time I'm pretty sure it did not. *shrug*) Anyway, the trick seems to be repeating the task. Even if the folders are modified immediately after creation by having files put in them, if no files need to be created the second time around, the modified dates should remain unchanged (Or rather, will be properly changed back to the original modified date instead of the current date.)
Therefore, if SyncBack had such an option to at least attempt to keep the modified date of a folder, wouldn't it work out if you ran a repeat job? As it is however I don't know if it even tries to copy a folder with the original modified date.
