Hi folks.
I'm trying to copy files to a network drive, some of them relatively large.
I have SB configured to ignore files in destination but not on source... But instead for some reason I don't quite understand, it is actively going through the LARGE amount of files (some large) on the destination and "scanning" them...
I assume to determine their hash for whether it should be copied to the source... Not sure, but I really just want a simple, highly reliable, single direction copy.
I don't trust other copy programs with some of their strange behavior. I love syncback, used it for years, maybe the best SW I ever bought.
But I really don't want to sit around and wait for it to scan the entire destination just to ignore files on it. I'm sure there's something I can "fix" in the configuration, it's just that SB is so darn powerful, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Can someone share advice with me? TY
