Verify does a hash of source and dest files (if copied) file-by-file, after each copy. It's on
Modify > Expert > Copy/Delete > 'Verify...'
Hence one is used during Comparison, and the other when Copying (rather as the settings pages suggest)
)So it seems for my simple one-directional copy, where the files on the destination (and source aren't in danger of changing), with that copy fully verified, I want:
Modify > Expert > Compare Options > 'Use slower... Disabled
and
Modify > Expert > Copy/Delete > 'Verify...' Enabled.
Right?
