Hi, use VBScript in Programs > Before. By default, Pro will prefix it with cscript in the command line, so if you browse to somescript.vbs, it will use
cscript "C:\the\path to\somescript.vbs"
but if you change the entry to
wscript "C:\the\path to\somescript.vbs"
there won't be a DOS box.
Or, simply right-click tray icon > 'Stop background backups from starting' before you insert the drive if you plan on running a Restore for a change...of course you need to remember to turn it back on afterwards.
