Thanks for your reply!

I've tried different changes in the permissions, upgraded to SyncBack Pro V5.20, fiddled with the settings on the NAS, but still getting an "access denied" error. When I use our old backup software (retrospect) on the same destination everything works fine, but slow ;)

I'm getting a bit desperate...
