I see your point. Still, doesn't SyncBack have multithreading? (I searched but couldn't find anything non-FTP related.) I know Robocopy (There's that name again) can get around that to some degree with that by copying many files at the same time. But then I also believe it to be the cause of Robocopy messing up file dates - in my experience multiple small files are fine but multiple "large" (Let's say over 10MB) files seems to trip it up.
I still have a lot left to backup so maybe it'll happen again? Sadface that using the debug option degrades performance though. Since I moved such a huge number of files and only a tiny percent were affected I'm not really in a hurry to try to move that much stuff in one night again, much less bog it down with another option to slow it down further..
