I am so sorry, but I can only make sense of a few things in your reply. I tried the Help in v5 then v6, but it is too confusing.

1) Sun=7 then that means Mon=1 not 0(zero) - Noted
2) 'only the changes' - that is correct
3) 'each Destination will have a full backup' - not selected
4) build-up of old files - I don't like to delete, overwritten @ some point.
5) use Variables to 'rotate' - will check that
6) Differential or Increment - did not know they were so diff. so I will need both.
7) you would only need to change the day of Full backup from 1 to 7 - ??????????????????
Bandwidth - total bytes transmitted

With all this info, not making sense to me right now, but can you do a step-by-step setup of Syncback v6.5 with the following criteria:

c:\temp 2TB (this is the directory to backup, doc/pdf/xls/pst)
amazon S3\test (place to backup to)
1st of every month do a full backup to S3\temp\full-son
every Sunday do a Diff backup to S3\temp\Sunday
Mon-Sat do a Incre backup to S3\temp\%DayOfWeekName%

every 3 months do a full backup to S3\temp\full-dad
every 6 months do a full backup to S3\temp\full-granddad

but do not delete old files, even if it is no longer in c:\temp
also use all option to limit the time it takes to do a backup.

Grandfather-Father-Son kind of backup.

Can you do a video/screencast or pictorial of this setup.
