Hi,
I have a PC running 24/7 with 3 non-admin user and want scheduled backups to a drive with a folder that has no access rights for that user. So I want to purchase syncback pro for this job, but I have some questing about the right handling.
I think the right way will be running syncback with my main adminuser and also schedule the group of my profiles with this adminuser-account. Is there another way (planed), like a service?
How can syncback (running as admin) reports any errors to the non-admin users? Is there another way then the email option? Are there global settings for the SMTP server or must I set it up in every profile? Is gmail supported?
How syncback handles the versioning? When I delete a file and set the option to delete it in the destination, can syncback recover an older version? What happens when the drive is full? Can I simply delete older versions or automate it?
Bye,
Norman
