Also, are you planning now to at least add as an option other compression engine?
The differences in size of the (single) archive file between ZIP and for example 7Z is TREMENDOUS in 7z's favour. For big arhives it is in the gigabyte range! It's unacceptable to use ZIP.
For now I'm experiencing with a batch file that is run after the profile has completed. The profile just copies the files, then the batch file runs the 7z commandline to compress the destination and delete the files. This would be Ok but it requires much more free space on destionation.
