I installed a Samsung EVO 840 250gb SSD for boot and programs, and am having problems backing up with SyncBack SE or the trial version of SyncbackPro. I am backing up to external HD's (Western Digital MyBooks), and the backup of my internal data drive (1.5tb WD) works fine as usual (~500gb of data). However, the backup of data files in my SSD (only 20gb) to either an internal or external HD slows to a crawl quickly, and after 2+ hours only a part of the 20gb is backed up.
I am a photographer and not a computer expert so would appreciate any insight. For years SyncBack has performed automated backups perfectly, but the SSD has evidently caused a problem somewhere. My PC is an ASUS M4A78T-E board, AMD Phenom II 3.2gz processor, 16gb RAM, Samsung 840 EVO SSD, WD 740GD scratch drive and then data HD's - Windows 7 Professional x64. Thx for any help.
