Thanks, Dave. Yes, "Access Denied" is indeed the reason given for the inability to delete from the destination. The original files on the hard drive, which were copied to the destination in the first place, were difficult to find and get rid of. Evidently IE 'protects' the browsing information gathered, possibly marking these files as such. I figured that, once the files were transferred to the destination drive, however, they would be more 'exposed and vulnerable,' but perhaps the protection and permissions were transferred along with them. I have since changed browsers and no longer have this problem with current activities, but there are several hundred old IE "Cryptnet URL" files on my backup. I suppose I can now do a 'backup from scratch' and then dump the old one.
