Set schedules to alternate backups between drives

I have a scenario where I need to alternate backup schedules between two external drives.
The source and destination directories will be identical but will need to be on a schedule as follows:
Profile 1 to external drive 1 will run daily Mon-Sun for week 1
Profile 2 to external drive 2 will run daily Mon-Sun for week 2
Profile 1 to external drive 1 will run daily Mon-Sun for week 3
Profile 2 to external drive 2 will run daily Mon-Sun for week 4
and so forth and so on....
The reason I need to do this is to have a backup of good data on one drive in case the live data gets corrupt and is backed up. I will have only lost a weeks worth and can rebuild the database.
I am wondering if someone can give directions to create these schedules.
