Hi,
I currently backup a workstation by running syncback on the workstation and copying to the server:
workstation -> server backup folder
This works and copies even open files using the VSS service,
However, due issues with the workstation, I need to move the syncback profile from the workstation to the server such that:
server syncback copies wks1 data FROM wks1 to server backup folder
This will work using the source path \\wks\c$\users\user1; however, I am wondering what will happen with open files? Will syncback still use the shadow service on the workstation to get a copy even if a file is open on the workstation?
Thank you
