Re: Agent on remote computer to speed up ?

Sorry, no such function. It would require a major re-write, so almost certainly isn't going to happen any time soon.

If the resulting copies (of the remote files, as stored on the central PC) would not be changed by any other person/process/profile, you can consider using Fast Backup on the remote PCs to remember what was copied to the central PC previously, and (on most occasions) avoid the need to scan (slowly...) over the network, just to find out they have not changed.

There are numerous articles in the KB on Fast Backup (do a search on 'fast' to find them / follow cross-links) and there is also detailed background in the contextual Help on the Fast Backup settings page.

If you want to Mirror (delete Dest-only orphans), you need traditional Fast Backup (not 'archival' / bit-based), as archival Fast Backups have no database ('memory'), and thus - on any non-Rescan run - would have no idea files exist on Destination that are (no longer?) on Source.

Fast Backup absolutely cannot be used for Sync (two-way traffic), and these functions are mutually disabled

Bear in mind Fast Backup has no effect on copy speed. But it can dramatically reduce the overall duration (including scanning) of a profile run if the Destination is on a slow device and/or the other side of a slow connection.
