Hi Sam, thank you for your interest in SyncBackPro. We're making sure that the next major version 7 is as good as it can be, and we never rush major releases until we're absolutely certain we've covered all the bases.
Rest assured that if you pay for a license now you will receive a free upgrade to V7! We want to extend this further so that anyone who has paid for a license of SyncBackSE V6 or SyncBackPro V6 on or after 1st March 2014 will enjoy an upgrade to V7 at no extra charge.
Note too our general licensing policy which is that all minor upgrades are free. For major upgrades there will be a small upgrade fee (keeping in mind the exception about V6 to V7 upgrades above), but this will be in line with our low pricing policy. Although licensees are advised to upgrade to the latest version, there is no requirement to do so.
Note too that a separate license must be purchased for each installation of the program. Installing the program on a server, or on a single workstation used non-simultaneously by multiple people, counts as one installation.
