Dave, after adding the filters, I was asked if I wanted to exclude those files and folders and I clicked Yes.
I'm trying to replicate the behaviour I described in my second message and I can't, which means that I must have made a mistake yesterday.
Having the following structure, both in source and destination:
\document.doc
\spreadsheets-NNN\document.xls
And running a profile where I have previously typed "*\*.doc" and "*\*-NNN\" under Files/Folders NOT to copy, nothing happens, which means that no files or folders are deleted from destination. It's weird because I was sure that my DOC file was deleted yesterday, but I can't replicate it again.
In any case, your link to the Knolewedge Base explains that ignoring both the files and the folders (and, as a result, not deleting them from destination) is the intended behaviour. I understand the reasons to justify this behaviour, although I still wish everything I filtered out could be automatically deleted from the destination.
I guess that's the way it is and I'll have to delete things manually one by one.
Thank you for your comments!
