Re: Progress Monitoring and bandwidth usage

TY!

Here's what I now know and what i still would like to know..

Bcs of the 2 RAID volumes on same server I have 2 profiles as mentioned and they are running at same time.
I have NOT limited bandwidth usage on advanced page of CLOUD settings in either profile.
I have designated 16 threads per profile.
This leads to about 50% of CPU utilization being consumed by SyncBackPro on this win2003 server, which is very acceptable. The server is a dual Xeon with 4GB running at 3GHz.

As i click on each profile i get this at bottom of SyncBackPro:

The estimates to completion have beend revised, Azure_profile_1 shows 4days 12 hours etc, with 188GB still left to go and it shows 101,273 files as having been completed with no errors on top of that number. This number of files completed does not change as files are being processed. Even tho i can see the file being worked on presently and how much of that file being worked on is being processed and I can also see the bandwidth being used as file is transferred thru the upload bandwidth, as each file is transferred shown is 840+KBps (it's an exact number, i put in the "+" sign) is being reported.
Whn i click on log file in the right click menu it tells me none is available, and I assume from searching this forum tht the log will not be available until after the job completes.

As i click on the second Azure profile, i get this at the bottom:

The estimates to completion of Azure_profile_2 has also been revised to estimate 1day 18hurs etc to completion with 21.66GB left to go and as 39,846 files having been completed and also 1 error (red number on top of completed files) I see the file being worked on as static. Doesn't change like profile 1 changes, like it has stalled. The outgoing bandwidth also has stayed static and reports a meager 14KBps as being consumed as file is being transferred out.

Ok, so as to what I would like to know as this is a long running job, the error or possible future errors as job is being worked on, Does SyncBackPro multitask on all profiles or does it singletask on first profile and then on second?

I suppoze I can always log into the Azure management portal to check on progress of jobs as to what has been uploaded thus far, as a fair rough estimate.. altho a log fashion progress report would be much more concrete/satisfying.

again TY for all your help as I get familiar with SyncBackPro
Thus far I am very impressed with it, it is a very well thought out and designed product with a very granular control feature set.
