Pushing/Pulling files to/from desktop to laptop?

I've read the help, and rummaged in the knowledgebase, and I think I have the information but I'm implementing it wrong. I don't think it's a Syncback problem, I think it's my ignorance. Both systems are running Windows 7, 64-bit. The desktop is W7 Professional and the laptop is W7 Home.

Push files from desktop to laptop. I'm and administrator on both system. I ended up creating shares on the laptop and gave EVERYONE full access. Once I did this, I could copy files from the desktop to the laptop.

BUT, I'd prefer not to do that. So, I changed the network share and just gave my account full control on the laptop. So, the share is \\laptop name\disk name\ and in "network" I put my username and password in for the destination. When I test the connection it's successful. But, when I run the profile to copy a text file to the laptop, I get an access denied. I'm not seeing what I need to do differently with the network share so Syncback can copy the file...

What am I missing?
