"Make safe copies..." is checked, but neither of the "Delete ALL..." options is.
The sequence of events was as follows: SyncBackPro determined which files on the destination were to be replaced, deleted them all en masse (not entire directories per se, just the hundreds of changed files) and only then proceeded to copy the new versions of those files.
I would rather the deletions happen one at a time, and only after successful copying of the updated version.
