I currently backup using LiveDrive and Acronis TI to a NAS drive. My parents are set up just to use LiveDrive. The recent increased threat from CryptoLocker and its capabilities suggest that none of these options are guaranteed to protect against infection. This is more so true with my parents who manage to end up with numerous malware on their machine.
So, particularly for my parents, I am looking for a very simple 1-click backup option for them. However, the plan is to use an external HD and only plug it in when making a backup. This does not exclude scheduling but I was thinking more of having a shortcut to a .bat file they can fire it off with. Even better would be if the plugging of the HD into the machine triggered a backup.
How much of this will be possible with SyncBack?
Thanks
Jeremy
