Thanks Conrad. That is perfect.
Due to the possible erratic nature of the backups can differential backups be created, or a fixed quantity of full backups be retained, with the oldest being either deleted or overwritten? I am guessing if the answer is yes then I need to read up on variables again. With either of these options the backups tend to be scheduled to run at regular intervals and the trigger for the next cycle is usually either a counter or a day. Will this be possible with an irregular interval?
Noting other posts I realise I need to get the trial version and give it a go, but I also don't want to waste the trial period on learning the configurations and then not be able to run a weeks worth of backups.
Thanks
Jeremy
