Remember to backup your profiles first, if you do not want to re-create them (see my earlier post on how to backup/transfer profiles).

If possible, you may also want to try installing SyncBack on a different machine and see if it exhibits the same issue. It may be that the system (you installed SyncBack on) has underlying corruption issues (Windows APIs which we call upon and rely on not working properly, etc).
