OK V3, my mistake.

1. My backup is onto a free standing hard disk (F) using a USB port. Other backups in the group profile (My docs and Favourites) work OK, so presumably the port is not faulty, also not faulty according to Device Manager.
2. My hard disk(C) is badly fragmented - I will attend to this. F does not require defragmentation.
This mornings backup was started at 1am. At 8.30 it was still running according to the display which I had refreshed. As usual it did not want to respond to stop (.pst is treated as 1 large file) and the computer was slowed. After reboot the display now said the backup was successful. Here is the log:

I did reload V6 earlier over the existing V6. Maybe I should try deleting V6 and reloading from a fresh download. Is it possible that V6 may have been corrupted during download eg by interruption?
