Hi all, great application you made for backing up personal data, music, documents etc. quite versatile and not too complex with tons of options.
But, i have a problem.
I have an external disk of 1 TB on firewire only for backup, and the other is internal 2TB disk from where i'm backing up. one of my backups has about 540Gb in one .zip file.
Backup is scheduled once a week cause there is not going to be a lot of changes in it.
So, if i got this right, he's first checking differences - then if there is any, he's making a whole new temp file in temp folder (540Gb !) because of one new file - and finally moves it to destination.
That's great but first backup lasted for about 8 hrs and i do not want to wait every week so long for only one file that has been added.
question: can he somehow directly put new added files into the zip file without making the full backup all over again ??
i even unchecked make safe copies in copy/delete section but to no success.
ok,i know making more smaller backups is a work-around, but i want an answer if it's possible.
thank you for replying.
