Re: v7 and Glacier handling

Hi, if you need to retrieve a file from S3, and that file is on Glacier, then SyncBack will request it's retrieval from Glacier. This means you'll need to run the profile again, later, once the file has been restored. It's smart enough to know if a file is already in the process of being retrieved.

In SyncBack you can specify how long you want the file to be retrieved into S3 for, e.g. retrieve it for 3 days, on S3, and then remove it so it's back on Glacier as before. This is all handled by S3.

If SyncBack needs to restore a file it simply requests the entire file to be restored. We've no plans to implement "gradual" restores or spreading out the restores.
