I have some additional information. It appears that sometimes when a schedule task runs a second SyncBack icon appears in the taskbar notification area and at other times it does not. From some very quick tests it is looking like if the scheduled task starts to run a group profile then the icon IS NOT displayed, if it is to run a normal profile then the icon IS displayed, which is all very confusing.
I also found the following error in the schedule dialog for one of scheduled profiles, this is NOT a group profile so I expect that a second icon WAS displayed and therefore it is possible that I may have clicked on the this icon by mistake and this looks like it stopped it from exiting, which is less than ideal (it is also possible that user interaction was not the cause of SyncBack not exiting but me investigating the problem later).
Ideally a second icon shouldn’t be displayed as it is confusing and I would think has the potential to really cause problems.

Did not close because of user interaction or the donotexit parameter was used (0x00000064)
