Good Afternoon Guys -
I have a remote FTP server which I connect to a few times a day and download it's contents. The files & folders within vary and may range from a few kilobytes to 20+ gigabytes total (sometimes each.) I'm trying to find the best solution to automate this.
I'm trying out SyncBackPro in hopes it can resolve this for me. I've created a job which will move all files, create folders for the downloaded files locally, then delete the source when complete. I've tested it and it seems to work well. However, I have a few questions, please:
1 - Schedule Conflicts
As mentioned, the jobs vary in size. If I schedule the job to run hourly, but when running sometime it takes over an hour, will a new one start causing a conflict? How may I manage this?
2 - Automated Job Options
I frequently connect to my computer via RDP throughout the day. Also, the system hosts many other things which may require bandwidth. Short of getting my QOS working better, is there any way to Pause, change bandwidth limits, or control any other aspect of already running automated jobs?
I think that's it. Any suggestions are appreciated - Thanks!
