Start on insert - aborting for bitlocker usb drive

I've setup a profile to run when a usb stick with a particular volume label is inserted. The usb stick in question is bitlocker encrypted and set to automatically unlock in the computer where syncback pro is running (Windows 8.1 Pro edition).

I see that the profile starts upon insert and does its job for a few seconds when it aborts and a pop message that says "that profile is already running" appears.

Upon further investigation, watching the windows explorer, I found that when this USB stick is inserted, Windows immediately assigns a driver letter with the proper volume label and, a few seconds later, the drive disappears and a few seconds later it appears again at the same mount point with proper label until I eject it. I think this is probably due to bitlocker detecting it, unmounting it to automatically decrypt/unlock and mounting again.

How can I make syncback pro handle this situation and continue the sync? One thought that occurred to me is to artificially introduce a delay (somehow) in syncback from when it detects the drive to when it actually starts the profile and I don't know how to do this.

Are there other ways that doesn't involve manually starting the profile and/or manually unlocking the drive? I'd like it to be as automated as possible.
