Update:
While this issue is truly fixed for single client scenario (1 PCs syncs to a cloud folder), there are still issues when there are multiple clients/PCs that sync to the same cloud folder - a "Dropbox-like" scenario. (BTW: Is SyncBackPro suitable for something like that?)
The issue is that the clients alternating download and upload all files to the cloud. SyncBackPro 7.0.14.0 is installed on both clients with same settings (see below).
Starting with client 1:
1st run: Treats all files as changed* and downloads them from the cloud [wrong, the files are identical in this case]
2nd run: Treats all files as changed and uploads them to the cloud [wrong again]
3rd run: No changes [correct]
4th run: No changes [correct]
...
And then client 2:
1st run: Treats all files as changed and downloads them from the cloud [wrong]
2nd run: Treats all files as changed and uploads them to the cloud [wrong]
3rd run: No changes [correct]
4th run: No changes [correct]
...
And then, client 1 treats the files as changed again, and so on and so (infinite loop).
* In the difference screen, both "files size" and "file attributes" are falsely marked as different. Date/time stamps are correct.
My settings are as follows:
(Compression and encryption enabled)
Tab "Cloud"
..[x] left files are on a cloud storage server
..Cloud service: Box
..Tab "Advanced"
....[x] Retrieve a list of all files and folders then filter (faster)
....[x] Upload the database to the cloud
