After some additional research the problem doesn't appear to be related to a file/folder naming problem at all. I rebooted everything and ran the syncback profile again - this time with no errors. The target computer has windows 7 with sharing set to "use user accounts and passwords to connect to other computers". Best I can tell the connection may have burped and the source computer logged out of the target computer causing everything syncback was trying to move to error out. It just happened to be copying pictures with commas in the file name for the first 10 or so pages of error messages. Once I looked further I saw some folder names with no special characters at all. That combined with Dave Wilkins' post was a pretty good clue. Thanks, Dave!
