Given that SyncBackFree V6 uses the same code (and APIs) that SE & Pro do for scanning, it seems a little odd we aren't (weren't) overwhelmed by people complaining that it gets slower when they upgrade to SE/Pro from V3. Likewise, there are very few people saying anything similar about upgrade to Free V6 now, but I guess from the download figures there are thousands using it successfully ![:)]( "Smile")
Which suggests it's something different in the configuration, or something askew in the PC that is running SBFree (damaged Windows APIs, etc - potentially different ones from those V3 uses). Note that it's not clear which PC you have each program installed on, nor which PC is the 'Source' (given that 'source' is not really relevant in synchronization anyway: a Synchronize profile set up in V6 from scratch should be referring to Left & Right). But I'm guessing the slow side to scan is remote to the PC running SBFree.
