It's definitely Samsung's choice of connecting as an MTP device that's the cause of this situation. I share your pain! I have a Galaxy S III and it's the same way. I completely disagree with Samsung's choice to to do this but they have. (Samsung wants us all to use Kies https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Kies which is nothing but glorified iTunes, IMO.)

IMO, to be fair, I really don't see this being something that SyncBack should be blamed for. Especially when Samsung did this and from what I see, it benefits no one!
