Re: user name and password required to schedule

Basically, for 'Vista', read 'Vista and later'. There was a new-style Task Scheduler inaugurated in Vista, which hasn't changed since (so 2008, 7 and 8 all still use it). The references relating to Scheduling thus tend to refer to 'XP' (old Scheduler, also in 2003) or 'Vista' (new Scheduler, also in 2008, 7 & 8 )

EDIT: if you find any KB articles re Scheduling that only say 'Vista', post the links (or the article numbers) and we'll review them. Mostly they should say 'Vista and later' (or 'and newer')
