Re: Can't sync with Windows XP without admin privileges.

Which credentials did you try entering on the Network page? They should be credentials of an admin account on the XP machine you're trying to access (possibly with a machine-ID prefix, as per the notes on Network page (try with and without). I'm guessing you did try this, just making sure

Is your account on the Win7 machine(s) an admin account(s)? Or are you promoted for admin credentials when you double-click the shortcut? If the former, check the Scheduled Task used to Start (SE) With Windows to see if it has the 'Run With Highest Privileges' box checked (which we configure by default). If so, and that account involved is admin-level, there's not a lot else we can do but ask, sorry - which we're hopefully already doing.

This article describes how to get to the Scheduler and find the Tasks in the library for Win 7 (follow the Vista trail). Ignore the parts about error-tracing, just use the navigation hints.

You could try switching off (and on again) the Start With Windows option to delete & re-create the Scheduled Task used.

(BTW, one workaround might be to drop our Start With Windows config (via Scheduled Task) and drag a shortcut into the Startup folder: you'll get a UAC prompt (at least) but it might at least save you from having to remember!)
