Does SyncBackFree also copy files which are NOT modified?!

Hi,

If Syncback backs up files, does it always copy/replace EVERY file, even if NOT modified?

The reason I'm asking is cause according to the version comparison on the Syncback website over here: http://www.2brightsparks.com/syncback/compare.html, the FREE version apparenly does NOT support "incremental & differential backups". Isn't it so that if backups are not "differential" or "incremental", that you will always have a "full backup" where EVERY file will be copied, even if it is not modified? (as explained here: http://www.techsupportalert.com/content ... hey-help-m)

So how does SynbackFree deal with files which are NOT modified in the destination folder? If it always copies all files, even those not modified, then backing up files must be time consuming and also put extra wear on the harddisk, isn't that so?!

Second, does it copy/replace files in the destination folder or is it cumulative, ie. does it keep duplicates of versions of files (which i don't need cause it just takes up space)?!

Third, where does SynbackFree store its log files and can you delete this if you want?

Finally, can you schedule SyncBackFree to backup on windows shutdown or not?

Thanks in advance for all help! :)
