About point 2) encryption: I just use normal compression/encryption of SBP so that files in the destination (it's a folder in a Windows PC synchronized online with DropBox, so indipendently from SBP) are encrypted. With encryption enabled, move seems not to work in SBP.
About point 3, please do not consider the cloud that is just mirroring my destination folder that is a folder on a Windows PC: the question was if it is possible to not copy empty folder from a source to a destination.
