This regards SyncBackFree V6 on a Win/Vista64 machine.
I've been using free versions of SyncBack for years under different operating systems, but am finding increasing incidences of the program's failing to delete files from the destination drive, particularly Internet Explorer cache files. I delete these from the computer's hard drive, usually using Ccleaner or simply the utility built into IE, and must admit that sometimes it takes some effort to locate and purge these from the computer. But afterward, when I run a SyncBack "Mirror Right" backup, certain of these files remain on the external back-up hard drive. SyncBack logs them as 'unable to delete from destination drive.'
I think it's about time that I invested in SyncBack SE or Pro; I mean the price is certainly right, but want to make sure first that these upgrade versions can deal with this issue. Anyone have the answer? Many thanks.
