Unlikely SE/Pro would make any difference. If you're getting errors about 'unable to delete' it's obviously trying already (and something is preventing it, possibly Access Denied)
Of course, there is the aspect that SE/Pro would entitle you to ticketed support, and we could maybe then find out why (what's preventing it?), but there's likely no difference we could make to the outcome 'internally' (it might be up to you to change whatever the problem is system-wise)
