Switch off the constraint? Or don't leave the machine in a condition where the constraint will kick in? If the same constraint kicks in on the three retries, you're no further forward (in fact, your battery may be flatter by then, so maybe just as well). If you believe it is sensible for the Scheduler not to carry on with a part-launched Task because 'on battery', maybe plug in to the wall on that evening?
(Note: there appears to be a bug in Windows (we've had several such reports) where it may decide you are on battery regardless - it even happens on big-iron servers where no battery exists)
There's no facility in Windows Task Scheduler to alert you if the Task decides not to start because of a constraint. And our software is closed at the time, because the Task decided not to trigger it (see above). Closed software can't alert you to something that didn't happen.
