Diffferent behaviour when synchronizing files and folders

Hello everybody,

I apologize if this has been asked before. I'm writing because I've found what seems to me an inconsistency in the behaviour of the programme. If I'm wrong, perhaps somebody could tell me why.

Before anything else, I'd like to make it clear that what I intend to do is SYNCHRONIZE, meaning that I want my destination to be an exact replica of my source.

1. Let's suppose this is the structure of my source folder:

\document.doc
\spreadsheets\document.xls

I run my profile and both documents are copied.

2. Now I decide that I don't want to synchronize my subfolder, and it works for me to add "-NNN" at the end of the folder name, so that it becomes:

\document.doc
\spreadsheets-NNN\document.xls

Of course, under Files/Folders NOT to copy, I've already added "*\*-NNN\". Things work as expected and the folder, together with the XLS file inside, are deleted from destination. All I've got is:

\document.doc

3. Next I decide that I don't want to synchronize any DOC files, so I type "*\*.doc" under Files/Folders NOT to copy.

Now, HERE IS MY QUESTION: why isn't document.doc deleted from destination? After adding my first rule, the subfolder was deleted, but after adding my second rule, the DOC file, which I had already copied, remained in destination. In a scenario where I have a complex folder structure, this would force me to manually delete all my DOC files everything from destination.

I'd truly appreciate your comments. Thanks! :-)
