Working with a Web Drive

Looking at the archives, I can see a lot of posts talking about how there is no native support for arbitrary cloud storage providers that supply drivers that creates a mount point in Explorer, but such solutions are popular, so I would like to see some sort of (unsupported if necessary) How To that offers a few ideas on what to do.

For my provider (OpenDrive) they provide a device with no drive letter which I can select as a target, and SyncBackPro will copy files to the directory as requested. However, the following issues are outstanding that make it impractical:

1. There seems to be no scanning of the destination to eliminate files that don't need backup.

2. OpenDrive's mount point works as a cache, so my drive fills up with pending files; this would not be too serious if not for 1, as it means a total backup every time.

OpenDrive provide their own simple backup utility, which makes SyncBackPro redundant... Image may be NSFW.
