Re: Scheduled backup produces UAC prompt

You must have the only PC out there that issues a UAC prompt when a Scheduled Task triggers. We actually leverage a Scheduled Task to Start With Windows in Vista-and-later, to specifically avoid the UAC prompt you would otherwise get if we used a shortcut in the Startup folder. As you might have noticed, we do not have thousands of people reporting this issue, but I guarantee you there are thousands of people running profiles on a Schedule under Vista-and-later (without that issue)

Sorry, I don't know of a workaround (in Windows) except maybe:

edit the Scheduled Task (directly from the Task Scheduler interface - this setting is not exposed in our drill-down into it) and at the foot of the 'General' settings tab, uncheck the box 'Run with highest privileges'. Note that this will likely prevent functionality that relies on 'elevated privileges' such as copying open/locked files

Note that a quick check of your most-recent previous posts shows you were running profiles on a Schedule in May 2012 with no report of any such issue (which is what we'd expect).
