Amazon S3 versioned backups. best practice?

Hi,

I want to have a versioned backup of a directory stored on Amazon s3. I would like to do incremental backups daily and a full backup weekly.

Can you point me to a guide that shows how best to configure this?

The reason I ask is because I thought I had this set up but I just discovered I didn't have versioning turned on.
