A variety of settings I've got wrong

Hello all,

Before getting into the issues, IS there a setting in SBSE to delete the contents of the Recycle Bin per Drive, before backing up files/folders from THAT drive? I can do it through a batch file, but we don't always runs the backup through a batch file and once it gets going, I sort of depend on SBSE to be smart enough to clean after our messes before it starts scanning and stuff.

I'm having an issue or two getting my settings correct for an unattended backup. We just upgraded the backup from an external 1T drive to one that has 3T. So, I simply changed all the Target drives to read E:\whatever to G:\whatever.

My problem seems to lie mainly with the C: drive being copied to G:\LocalCDrive. I'm GETTING an email report because there are 'issues' but MOST of the 'issues' are ... difficult for me to understand. I would like an ERROR-FREE report, because the boss would like to know that his data is safe and sound and he will HAVE an instantaneous backup right at hand should something go south. I'd like that piece of mind, too [G].

Let's start with the warnings list. Had 340 of them, all listing "The file may have been deleted between the time it was scanned and the attempt to copy it was made" as the reason for the trigger. SOME of those were in temp caches in internet access. I THOUGHT I had eliminated them but I get things like \Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\LocalLow\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\Content\meaninglessChars. There are also issues with some links and bits and pieces of Windows\System32 and other things. A rights issue? Whatever, how do I freeze them out?

Next to the 49 Errors. All of them are DLL files and/or setup files of CAB and MSI kinds. For example, the error message starts: Failed to copy from CAppsDataMyDox : Cannot copy file (3): The system cannot find the path specified XXXXX. There IS NO path XXXXX (or whatever), and I thought I had cured this by going through the filters, re-applying and then pressing clean-up. Was there another step? There WERE folders that I thought were ruled out by the filters, but when SBSE asked me to re-select them, I pressed NO to ALL.

Moving on to Non-Critical Errors. The one there is: Cannot get date and time of file: DataDict.proto. Now, this odious little file comes with Wondershare MobileTrans. It repels attempts to delete it as the user and even when you run Windows Explorer as Administrator. So, we know that this is bordering on being something the AV program should handle. But apparently, the app actually has some use, before settling into parasitic life from then on. Sooooo, I can't get it out, and the lack of a date on the file creates the Non-Critical Error today, and tomorrow, and so on. IS there a filter that says [A] Ignore files with no Date Modified data [B] Report those files, backing up anyway [C] No backup, but report?

And finally we come to the ignored pages and pages and pages. i KNOW I've overlooked it. Where's the switch to ignore ignored files and not to report them? Be specific, since I've been over the advanced settings three times and I can't see that tree for the rest of the forest.

Appreciate all the help and thanks for providing me with a bit less stress and a whole lot more sleep. The Boss? Oh, what the heck, him too. [G]
